Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Roza collects personal data only when you choose to provide it. There is no customer account or login on this website.

If you contact Roza by WhatsApp, telephone or email, Roza receives whatever information you include in that conversation, such as your name, contact details, the jewellery or service you are asking about and any photographs or notes you send.

If you subscribe to Notes from Roza, the newsletter form collects your email address and your marketing-consent choice. The newsletter connection is not active during the website preview, so information entered into that form is not currently sent to or retained by Roza.

Why we use it

Roza uses enquiry information only to answer your request, help you with a piece or service and maintain an appropriate record of that conversation. If you choose to subscribe once the newsletter is active, Roza will use your email address to send occasional collection and store updates, maintain a record of consent and honour unsubscribe requests.

Roza does not sell or rent personal data and does not use newsletter details for unrelated purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or advertising cookies. Anonymous visit totals are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to identify visitors for analytics.

Pages containing an embedded Google map may make a connection to Google when the map loads. Google may receive standard technical request information and its own privacy terms apply. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or Google Maps take you to those services, where their privacy terms apply.

Who else sees your data

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard server-request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages, protect the website from attack and provide anonymous traffic totals.

When the newsletter is activated, subscriptions and emails will be handled through Roza's selected email-service provider. Depending on that provider, subscriber information may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates under appropriate safeguards. This policy will be reviewed and updated before that connection is enabled.

How long we keep it

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer you, maintain relevant business records and meet legal, accounting or tax obligations. Once the newsletter is active, subscriber information will be kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, a limited suppression record may be retained so Roza does not send marketing messages to you again. You can ask Roza to delete your data sooner, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable UAE law, you may:

Ask what personal data Roza holds about you and request a copy.
Ask for inaccurate or incomplete data to be corrected.
Ask for your personal data to be deleted.
Object to or ask Roza to restrict certain uses of your data.
Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Raise a complaint with the UAE Data Office or another relevant supervisory authority.

Marketing emails will be sent only after you actively choose to subscribe. Once the newsletter is active, every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link. You may also withdraw consent by contacting Roza directly. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before your request.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so information sent between your browser and the website is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but Roza and its service providers take reasonable steps to protect the information they handle.
